The
Fuel Cell is an existing technology for
cleanly converting energy that can respond
to our current energy and environmental concerns.
After being used for many years in the aerospace
field, its use as an industrial product is now
becoming a reality.
The motivation,
experience and know-how of Air Liquide's
and Axane's teams have lead
to the development of a unique modular
technology platform offering a
wide variety of multipurpose power sources
from 0.5 to 10 kW ranging from portable generator
to small stationary and integrate power systems.
To this
end, Axane has developed product-specific
skills in the fuel cell field, ranging from
the cell core to auxiliary components,
and sound knowledge of its market
while relying
on Air Liquide’s vast experience and
skills covering all aspects of the cell core
technology.

Standardization
and regulation...
The safety
and the reliability of hydrogen for the fuel
cell system in order to ensure the safe use
of our products is the top priority for both
Axane and Air Liquide. To this end, our teams
play an active role in different standardization
and regulatory bodies:
.
Technical Committee 105-Fuel Cell Technology-French
mirror committee administered by the French
Technical Union of
Electricity
and Communication (UTE) of the International
Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
Participation
in:
-
Working Group 3 relating to the Stationary Fuel
Cell System
-
Working Group 7 relating to the Portable Fuel
Cell System
Objectives:
-
Draft international standards and integrate
constraints at the design stage.
.
Deployment Strategy” Steering Panels of
the “European Hydrogen & Fuel Cell
Technology Platform».
. Co-leader of the “Initiative
Group Regulation, Code & Standards”
(IG RCS).
Objectives:
-
analyze the barriers in Europe to fuel cell
and hydrogen deployment
-
draw up an action plan
.
Proposal by “AFNOR / UTE” as one
of the two “CEN / CENELEC” experts
in fulfillment of mandate M / 349 “Hydrogen
and fuel cells” of
the European Commission
for the evaluation of regulations, European
and world standards on Hydrogen and the Fuel
Cell.
Objectives:
-
assess the state of European and worldwide regulations
and analyze the curbs on the development of
Fuel Cells and Hydrogen.
«Every
year since 2001 we have set up projects
for the design of innovative products:
after POLAR PAC ™ and ROLLER PAC
™, this year we are offering a new
product range which will adapt to your
mobile or stationary application. For
each project, we mobilize the expertise
of our professionals not only on the technical
issues but also on the contexts in which
the final applications will be used and
the safety issues they raise. Organizing
our developments in projects allows us
to meet the expectations of our most varied
customers in the shortest possible time
and at the lowest possible cost.»
